Remortgage

Remortgaging refers to the process of refinancing your home with another lender and securing a new deal or renegotiating a new deal with your current mortgage provider.

Why would I remortgage my home?

  • Existing deal coming to an end
  • To get a lower interest rate
  • To change a residential mortgage to a buy-to-let mortgage
  • To borrow more money for home improvement loans
  • To consolidate existing debt
  • To raise capital for personal reasons

Many people over-look the importance of reviewing their current mortgage deal. A remortgage will present you with a variety of options including extending the term in order to reduce the monthly repayments or re-mortgaging to reduce the term if you feel you can afford to pay a bit more every month – repaying your mortgage faster and potentially saving a significant amount of money each month.

Consolidating debt may reduce your outgoings now, but you may end up paying more overall. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

If you are considering remortgaging your home, do not hesitate to contact us in order to arrange a new deal.
